INGREDIENTS: 1 lbs Powdered Sugar; 1/2 cup cocoa; 6 tablespoon Margarine; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 4 tablespoon milk; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 cup chopped nuts DIRECTIONS: Mix all ingredients, except nuts, in top of double boiler.Place over hot water and stir until smooth; add nuts; spread into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan; let cool and cut into squares.

INGREDIENTS- MAIN: 1 3/4 sticks of margarine-melted, 2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers, 1 1/2 cups peanut butter, FROSTING: 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup melted margarine, 1/2 cup cocoa, milk. DIRECTIONS: combine the main ingredients in a bowl and pat into a 9 x 13 pan. mix the dry frosting ingredients together and add just enough milk to make it easy to spread. frost the candy.

INGEDIENTS : 2 Tablespoons Margarine; 1/2 cup milk; 1 cup sugar; 1 cup flour; 1 teaspoon baking powder; Pinch of salt; 1 pint of sweetened canned fruit. DIRECTIONS: Combine all ingredients, except canned fruit; pour into an 8x8 inch baking dish; top with canned fruit; bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or until well done; YIELD: 3 to 4 servings

INGREDIENTS: 6 cups flour, 2 cups lard or shortening, 1 cup boiling water, 3 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder. DIRECTIONS: Pour boiling water over lard/shortening, add and mix flour, baking soda and salt thoroughly. store in fridge until needed

INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 Tablespoons yeast, 1/3 cup warm water, 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup margarine, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 beaten eggs, approximately 4 cups bread flour. CRUMBS- combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon margarine. FILLING- Boil together 4 tablespoons sugar & 4 tablespoons water for roughly 5 minutes or until syrupy. Mix 1/2 cup shortening and 1/2 cup margarine. Add 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, then add syrup. stir in 2 to 4 cups powdered sugar. DIRECTIONS FOR CAKE- Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Heat milk until just hot. To the milk add the margarine, salt and sugar. Beat the eggs and add them to the milk after it is lukewarm, then add yeast mixture. Add the flour and mix completely.Let rise for 1 hour. Work into 3 cake pans and put the crumbs on top. Let it rise again. Then bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden brown.
